Following the defeat of the Popeyes CEO in Power Dinkus Down, our hero had settled down into the lifestyle of a Jockey. The relaxed, beach-bound, island-time lifestyle he had briefly experimented with just left his heart with an opening for the light of horse racing to shine through. Quickly, our hero, Umehara, managed to prove himself to be the most skilled horse racer in the entire league.

However, on the day of the Big Horse Race, Umehara's mysterious patron, Reimu, appeared with a threat--end up behind in the race, or else.
